Available Now! Bruce Wyatt's A Complete History of WODS - Almost

With over 50 years involvement in amateur theatre with Worcester Operatic & Dramatic Society (WODS) and as we approach our 130th anniversary in February 2022, Bruce Wyatt has been inspired by a number of enquiries from members and others interested in the history of the Society, to delve into some records and scrapbooks first created by his late father ‘Bill’ Wyatt, with some older information he gathered together, and create a record which he hopes members and our supporters might be interested in reading.

Bruce told us, "With the opportunity provided by lockdown in January 2021, I started writing a book entitled “A Complete History of WODS - Almost” covering the period from our establishment in 1892, through to the present day, with over 31,000 words and 140 pictures, neatly divided in to chapters for each decade!"

Bruce has now taken delivery of “A Complete History of WODS – Almost” and has been very pleased with the response from members. He has just a few spare copies for anyone who might still like to order one, so please email Bruce at bruce.wyatt@outlook.com.

"I am very pleased with the design (the talented Jeremy Field of The Media House) and the final printing and binding by SB Print Ltd. Having received a grant from the Ken Dodd Foundation the price has been reduced to £9.99 a copy + posting and packaging if appropriate.”
